Couldnt agree with you more. My husband works at McGuire right now, but is

looking into transferring to Dover, we just bought a house right outside of

Dover, but we are still going to use CHOP for all of 's care.

Where are you stationed now? Dont know where you are going, but I think

s AFB is in land, and if I am not mistaken, s Hopkins is in

Salisbury MD, dont know how far it is though. When I brought the subject up to

s

CF doc, he said if we had an emergency to take him to Salisbury and they

would air lift him to Hopkins, so I am guessing it isnt all that far. If I can

be

of any help to you, please let me know. is in the 108th ARW with the

Air National Guard but works at McGuire full time.

you are an angel thank you for looking all that stuff up for me. I

will keep it all so that when the time comes to fill out paperwork I

will be able to put places that are really close to GOOD CF centers.

No problem, All I did was call my dad and ask where the air force bases are. My

dad used to be a procurement officer for the gov't and he was always on one

military base or another making sure that what he contracted for was being

delivered (he bought dairy products, produce and meat at different times for all

the branches of the military) Anyway he was happy to tell me where the bases

are!

We are stationed at Eglin Air Base in Fort Walton Beach Florida.

It is beautiful here but has been very hard on my son. Actually s

is one of the choices that we have there are only like 5 or 6 that have

bases close enough to them to be considered for the move. Mariland, St

Louise, Little Rock Arkansas, One in Arizona and Las Vegas. Nellis I

believe is the one in Vegas. Anyways, I am just wondering about the

clinics in all of those areas. Colgan was diagnosed in the one at

Little Rock and they were wonderful however, I hated that area.
