Enzyme Complete with ISOGESt

Hi everyone

I just got back from making a trip for a new bottle of enzyme complete

with ddp4 and realized that I got the one with isogest. Both say that

they are scd legal the catalogue says the one with isogest is made to

help digest disaccarides. The technical support at kirkman says it wont

hurt to give him the one with isogest and might help. But we are not

eating disaccarides as far as I know because we are on scd. Any

thoughts on this? I figure I'll have to make the hour drive to take it

back and get the one without the isogest but just thought I'd check.

The kirkman people said that there are still disaccarides in vegetables.

They don't know scd. What do you think? Will the enzyme complete with

ddpIV help or hurt or be neutral? Thoughts?

The isogest product won't hurt. It will either be neutral, or help

more. You can use the accident to see if this might work out better.

I've talked to a several people over the past year who had good

success with the isogest product instead of other Kirkman or Houston

enzymes. I prefer the Carb Digest with Isogest if you were choosing

from scratch over the Complete, but I wouldn't take the Complete with

Isogest back and trade it for the non-isogest version of Complete.

Please let me know if you do find this one works better.

Even if you are not deliberately eating disaccharidases, there may be

some trace amounts in foods or internally created disaccharidases from

microbial by-products or debris.
