We tried last year but most of the hunting stores told us that they were

holding back on give to fundraisers. I think because it was something new so I

hope if we keep bugging them every year they will eventually get tired of us and

give something to auction off. Their is a guy in Michigan who started the

Camouflage ball he has a son who has cf and they both love to hunt so he thought

off Hunting for a cure so that is how the theme got started plus it really gets

the guys more involved with the fundraiser. If you hubby is anything like

mind he would rather be doing anything else then walking but when it comes to

hunting things well that's different. If you would like to start one in your

area

I can help you get in contact with Pete his dream is to get this going in

every state. I hope it comes true!!! Deb A

Well we got all kinds of stuff to raffle off like dinners out or a hunting

outing, hair care products, 15 tons of gravel anything that would be a good item

to be raffled off and people would have to come in and buy raffle tickets and

we would had two very popular disc jockey pick the ticket they really made it

fun. Then we got some really nice scenic picture to auction off and nice

jewelry from some jewelry stores and some expensive fur hat and gloves, a nice

luggage. We had a dinner catered. Oh ya we also had people dress in camouflage

and the best dressed won a prize. We also had a very expensive rifle that people

bought tickets for and you didn't have to be present to win which really

brought in a lot of money. We also had a silent auction. Pete in Michigan had a

dance at his but because it was our first year we decide to keep it simple and

hoped that maybe in the future we could add that too. If you have any more

question let me know. Deb A
