There is still time - though you are nearing the end of the window for banding.

Go see Cranial Tech - they will be honest with you about banding and the possibility of correction.

Honestly, if it is keeping you up at night then don't delay - do all you can while you can.

Daughter 15 months...is it too late for helmet?

I need some help. My daughter just turned 15 months old. I noticed

her head flattening at 3 months. Our pediatrician never thought it was

sever enough but it is very noticable when her hair is wet especially.

At 10 months Went to a Cranial Facialist in town that said if she were

his daughter he would not do helmet. He said it will take time to go

away. Nothing has changed and she is still sleeping on back some.

I have heard of some kids having luck after 12 months with the DOC

band. Does anyone know....is really too late? I'd love to hear the

good and bad from anyone who can help. I can't stop thinking about it

and it's keeping me up at night. I just want the best for her.

Thank you!

I wouldn't hesitate one minute to go see Cranial Technologies and get a DOC band for your daughter. Mine will be a little over 12 months when she'll be getting her second band in February, and I have no doubt that we will again see good results for her brachy.

Don't waste any time though. At 15 months of age, time is ticking fast and their head is not growing as fast, so you want to take advantage of any tiny growth that can occur.

Don't wait. Go for it. You'll be glad you did.
