So far, three of you say coconut milk. I guess I'll give that a try first

in hopes that it will give me that same nice, rich flavor of cream. When

you say coconut milk, do you mean crack open the coconut and use the liquid

that comes out, or make coconut milk from unsweetened, dried coconut flakes

as directed on pecanbread.com? I know that sounds kind of crazy that I

don't even know what coconut milk is unless it comes from a can. If you

mean fresh from the coconut, how do I do it?

We mean taking the unsweetened, dried coconut and making coconut milk as per the

recipe on pecanbread.com.

If I remember correctly: if you break open the coconut (or drill a hole) and

drink the liquid inside of it you are drinking " coconut water " . But I've got to

get to my chores so haven't looked up the directions for coconut milk, I'm sure

someone will do that for you.
