Guest guest
Hi , Welcome to the group. My daughter also had brachy due to her extra fast head growth. In our case our doc was okay doing an ultrasound to check her head, but they were also worried about her growth and things checked out fine. With my daughter I didn't realize how bad her headshape was until we saw a specialists (cranio facial plastic surgeon). The I realized that the top view of her head really showed the extra width. She wore a starband and got good results. You can see her before and after pics as well as her scan (shows outline of headshape before and after). Her pics are in Our Plagio Babies S/Sydney M in the photo section. She wore a starband, but CT has a great reputation so you should see good results too. Let us know how things are going. -christine sydney, 3 yrs, starband grad > > Hi everyone, > > We are brand new to the Plagio world as our baby daughter, Imogen > " Immie " has just been diagnosed with brachycephaly. Guest guest
, My daughter, Leinee, was banded at CT Dallas Dec. 29th. We are still waiting to hear from BlueCross BlueShield of Texas. She met all three standards for it to be considered " medically necessary " so we took our chances and put the entire balance on a credit card. She was a week from turning 5 months so we wanted to get the most growth we could. She had plagiocephaly, we have seen amazing results in the past 3 weeks. I'll let you know when we hear from the insurance company. Good Luck!
