Guest guest
Jody, There is only one eggless bread recipe (in the egg-free baked goods section) and it says " when cooled it can be cut into squares " which leads me to believe it is not a loaf bread, but is a flat, stay-in-the-bottom-of-the-pan sort of thing like the brownie recipes in the same section. Am I missing some other recipes? Please direct me to them. Thank you, At 09:54 AM 8/8/2006, you wrote: >, > >Have you tried any of the egg free recipes on pecanbread.com yet? > ><http://www.pecanbread.com/recipes.html>http://www.pecanbread.com/recipes.html > >Jody >mom to -7 and -9 >SCD 1/03 > >
Guest guest
With nut flours being so dense and egg replacers not giving the rising power given by eggs, I honestly do not think it is possible to make a loaf bread that will rise and hold together in the way that you are wanting. I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news. I will say though that we enjoy flat bread cut into squares and then used as bread. You can also use cookie cutters on the flat bread to make fancy finger sandwiches. Jody mom to -7 and -9 SCD 1/
