I'm thinking ripe banana then maybe avacado, does that sound right? " Yes. Also pureed butternut squash, pureed green beans, applesauce, etc. NO starches. I remember Elaine saying something about babies not being able to break down starch. I can't remember the age though. Perhaps someone else remembers. I will not give grains until way after 1 yrs old and maybe not even then! Apparently McGill University just did a study that revealed babies do not have the enzymes to digest grains!
