HEY Guys!!

Well remember last night when I said my first surgery schedule was postponed

to the 6th? Well I woke up last night coughing, and this morning I felt

really bad. I spoke to my PCP and its Bronchitis (I think a co-worker passed

it around) =(. He prescribed me a medicine this morning that I will be on

for 5 days. And of course, these are meds that can't be taken before

surgery. So I will have to wait until 2 weeks after I finish my

meds(hopefully I will feel better)to schedule surgery. Oh well...better safe

than sorry that's for sure.

I wanted to ask some post-ops a question though. I have planned a trip with

my family to Disney from 10/24-10/31. With my hold back this puts my surgery

around the 3-4 week in September. My trip is a month after that. I know

getting the exercise is good after surgery, but is 6 days of excessive

walking going to be too much? If I drink or eat something that does not

settle properly, what is the average time that it takes to " feel better " ?

This trip is especially important for my family (our first time to Disney)

and I want to make sure that everyone has a good time. Thanks for your

experience!

PS LINDA..you are awesome...I love the work you have put into the website.

Thanks,

BMI 43
