Guest guest
Well, I'm not sure if the nut butter is causing the nightmares now or not. I've pretty much had iel back on the intro diet for this entire week. It's been cooked carrots, bananas, chicken or ground beef or turkey, kiluted grape juice, and yogurt. He's still had little crying episodes every night this week. Does anyone have thoughts on other foods that might be causing the issue? Should I give him a spoon full of nut butter this weekend, and see if the crying is worse(loudr, longer, ect.)? Also, no one ever gave their opinion on if I should introduce the coconut flakes yet. My thought was to dip banans in honey, and roll them in coconut for a special treat. Is 3 months too soon to consider this? Guest guest
Hmmmm... maybe you've hit the famous 3 month flare? This could be just another stage of die-off that would be temporary. Sorry he's having a rough time. If you've pulled the nut butter, and he's still having the crying episodes, then it may be something else. I think it sounds like it's too soon for dried coconut. It's pretty fibrous. How about making coconut MILK (per the recipe on pecanbread.com), then blending it with ripe banana and freezing it into a popsicle? A little vanilla and honey might be good with this, if he can have honey. Patti Nuts and coconut Well, I'm not sure if the nut butter is causing the nightmares now or not. Guest guest
What a good idea to do the popsicle. He can do honey, so I'll give that a try. I hadn't thought of another round of die-off.
