Veterans, correct me if I'm wrong, but raw apple and lettuce would not be a

good idea if you're pretty new on the diet. How long have you been scd?

Meelah,

You are correct. You can bake your apple and leave the lettuce out. All that

raw fiber can irritate a not-yet-healed gut. Peel, de-seed and cook all your

veggies and fruit for the first while.

I know that everyone is different, and their gut heals at a different rate.

But, can anyone give me some kind of guideline of what is too soon? Should

it be at least a month? At least 3 months? I'd just like some kind of

guideline like there is for introducing beans or raw seeds.

I would say less than a month, what about the tomato and avacodo?
