Guest guest
Ok, I've read the legal/illegal food list (a couple of them actually) and I m curious as to why Quorn is illegal. I've been to the Quorn web site. Quorn is a prefermented fungus that does not contain soy. But, it does have a small amount of " milk protein. " Is that the reason it is on the " no-no " list? Also, this is a direct quote from the company: Mycoprotein does not contain phytic acid or phytic salts which can interfere with mineral absorption, and it has been shown that mycoprotein has no significant effect on the absorption of calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, zinc or iron in comparison with a polysaccharide-free diet. Can anyone make sense out of that for me. Thank, Jazz
