I too, can no longer get into Rich's truck without help. My legs are too weak and my arms are too, so can't pull myself up. Guess I had better just grow a few more inches instead of shrinking. LOL I know how it is for people not to recognize you. I have the same problem... Hard to get use to. Hang in there. We are all here for you and know what you are going through. Guest guest Posted April 10, 2002 Report Share Posted April 10, 2002 Well I got the results of my MRI on my right leg. I did almost completely tear my achilles tendon. Now the problem we are faced with is that the rheumy doesn't want them to do surgery because of the pred & the RP. He said the healing would not go well. I am going to the ortho on Monday. It will be two weeks tomorrow that this happened. The rheumy said that he will call the ortho & let him know what is going on with me & figure out how they should approach this. I will probably be casted or have a brace put on so it can heal. I know the ortho & he's pretty good. Why is it for every one step forward I go two back. I am down to 35 of the pred going down to 30 tomorrow. The MTX is going okay. Had my second dose on Monday. Other than my stools being a little looser & a little nausea I am doing okay. I was very tired yesterday & had some real mild nausea & a little today but I can handle it. Will keep you posted on how Monday goes. Luv ya, Susiecue P. S. Happy Birthday Pete & Lillian!!!
