Should I stay away from them for now? Also, I would like to know what is wrong with almonds? I saw a few things saying that pecan flour is better for some kids. Should I stay away from > them for now? Hi, June, If you're on this diet, you probably are lactose intolerant. Peas have a sugar called rafinose, which is almost exactly like lactose.
