Tania, I also suffer from migraines and if I let them get too bad I have to

go to the Dr. and get a shot, there is a shot out now called Torodol (sp?)

anyhoo it IS NOT a narcotic it doesn't make you sleepy and you can drive

yourself home, it is a wonderful drug.

Tania,

I'm so sorry! Email Dr R with " Help-2 wks pre-op and in pain! " or something

like that. Be prepared that he might tell you that there is nothing you can

take, though. Actually, he might recommend a prescription drug. Good luck,

sweetie!

Tania:

Maybe I'm just a wuss, but I'd call the PCP immediately. I don't think a

severe headache is something where you should be asking for lay opinion.

Espcially if you get migraines.

have been fighting this all day and it is getting worse. I get

migraines if I don't take anything at the first sign of pain and am

afraid that is where it is going. I am in a lot of pain. What can I

Tania--

I, too, had a severe headache at about 2 weeks before surgery. I

called Dr. R's office and spoke with Debbie. She told me that there

was absolutely nothing I could take and that I just had to " grin

(lol!) and bear it. " I have never been prone to migraines, though,

so your situation might be different.

Just my 2 cents. Good luck!

forget how much caffeine is in most soda's.Do you think you might be feeling

caffeine withdrawal,if so,maybe you are weaning yourself too fast? Just a

thought,Keep us posted,this happens a lot. Janet

Whoaaa, Janet! That's an interesting approach. Good question, even if it

isn't applicable here.
