Holly, I am not joking. I don't think I am supposed to eat those things that

I described for the reason I became a member of the orange team, but I have

eaten pretty much anything that I've wanted to for the last two weeks, and

that doesn't mean that I was supposed to. it may very well explain why we

are NOT supposed to, and probably goes on to explain some of my nausea that

I've had, but yes is the answer to your question.

Don't be afraid of the surgery. Its a breeze. I've never experienced any

pain since I was released from the hospital, even immediately after the

surgery, I had very little pain and was made to push the Demerol button, as I

just felt no pain whatsoever. and have never even had the pain medication

prescribed to me filled, as of yet. Now nausea is another thing, cuz' as

soon as my surgery was completed, I immediately experienced severe nausea,

however the nausea patches work wonderfully. For the past 3 weeks since my

surgery, I've never had a severe nausea attack except last Thursday evening

that lasted over 24 hr.. The phenagren didn't help much and I wasn't given a

prescription for the nausea patches, therefore, I had to go to the hospital

for a shot in the behiny of clomazine, and then given a prescription for the

suppositories of the same, which I've only had to take one since that time.

Please take in consideration that the food that I consumed was eaten a

couple of bites per hour or two, throughout the entire day, not all at once,

as described to you, for the reason of causing my oil leak and becoming a new

member of the orange team, as it is referred to all post ops that have

experienced orange poop when the poop comes out with greasy remnants of from

that floats on top of the water in the toilet, and when you wipe, it is

yellow and orange greasy oil stains, mainly resulting from my very high fat

intake on those two days and for not regularly taking the Citrucel.

Best Regards,

Donna,

Although I live in Atlanta, I do visit Birmingham and Anniston quite often.

(In fact, I'm driving over and back --B'ham -- tomorrow). I was wondering if

we could get together sometime over the next 3-4 weeks. I would really like

to meet you and talk in person about the surgery.

It sounds like you're doing great, even if you are a member of the orange

team.

Thanks.
