Guest guest
Thanks Janet. Sounds like a whole different culture I'll be visiting in Durham. Sounds like you've visited PNW? Do you know what " BC " stands for? So does that make it like those 4 X 4 aspirin/caffeine/codeine things some people get in Canada? If I saw someone one up here in public take powder in wax paper and hold it up to their face/mouth, you can imagine what I'd think. Or maybe I just lead a sheltered life. Go figure. And I HAVE to ask this too: what are " nabs. " And what's the thrill with peanuts in a glass Pepsi bottle? Just seems a pill would go all the way down before disintegrating, and powder would end up on the mucus membranes in the mouth and STING! The Republicans and Democrats have nothing on the cultural divide between me and the rest of the world, I guess! Night. Guest guest
Ok ya'll, I'm born and raise inthe South. Alabama to be exact and I never heard of " nabs " .???And just to get the record straight it isn't " soda " its coke. They are all " cokes " just different flavors, like pepsi " coke, orange " coke " diet " coke " , mountain dew " coke. If you are going to a store you ask, " What kinda coke do ya'll wont? " lol! As for Goody Powders and BC's I was raised all around them but I can't take 'em. I forget that you can't inhale when you put them on your tongue. I choke everytime. I hear they have good headache relief though. Guest guest
Hi Dinah, I am from VA, but my parents are both from NC. I've heard the term nabs all my life. They are crackers with something (peanut butter, cheese) between them. I remember my dad saying " would you go get me a pepsi and a pack of nabs? " I guess it is a NC saying.
