Guest guest
It is so nice to talk to other nurses. I completely agree with how frustrating it is not being able to work. I myself got screwed over with finances because I was in a term position when I got sick. So I started getting sick halfway through my term and when it ended they didn't renew me. So I got worse health wise and I wasn't working, so I don't qualify for disability or anything. I really miss my job. My job gave me an identity. I just find it hard to sit home and not do anything. And I was going to try and go back, but ward nursing is just to hard on my body. I get exhausted and in pain from doing the dishes sometimes, let alone for picking up 8 patients on a ward. I just find all of this so hard. And i'm trying to be optimistic that it will get better. But i'm also trying to prepare myself that I could be like this for a long time.
