Guest guest
When Tyler was in NICU they gave him an enzyme called cotazyme. It was a big green pill with powdered enzyme in it. We mixed half capsule in with a little breastmilk then gave it to him then let him eat...I continued to use cotazyme until he started eating solids. and unfortunately the only experience I have on meconium Illeus is that my son needed surgery to repair his. Guest guest
Our primary nurses were wonderful I would suggest this too. They really take special care of your little one. Special sheets and baths and all kinds of stuff that you want to do for your baby but can not because they are in there for the time being. I really feel that most NICU nurses have a special gift to be able to take such great care of our babies. I do not know what I would have done with out a couple of ours. They really helped me through some rough times during those really scary days of Colgans beginning. I really hope that Jack is going to do just fine and with any luck he will not have to have tummy surgery. Love to you all Ashauna mom of 2 Maxwel and Colgan wcf
