Hi Robin,

We started my 5 year old daughter on the diet about 3 months ago. She has a

seizure disorder. She had no overt signs of yeast or bacteria in her gut

and tended to be constipated rather than having diarriah (sp?).

Nonetheless, we have seen a dramatic difference in her (though not until at

least 30 days into the diet). She was having so many seizures before that

she lost her speech and was always in a fog. Now she is talking again and

so vibrant. She is learning much better now.

Constipation is still a problem at times. Elaine has a suggestion for that

in her book or on her website using cooked prunes. I tried that and did not

notice as much a difference as when I feed Abby a well cooked fresh beet

daily (and beets are really unexpectantly good). That really helps her.

I have also noticed that if she can stay " regular " then she will likely not

have a seizure.
