I had a discectomy at L:4.5 in 1985. Hi, Liz, Don't you just love these educated doctors??!! I, too, have had surgery on the L4 - L5 (Jan, 2000). That surgery helped a LOT, but they just keep thinking there might be more going on, plus things seemed to escalate after the car wreck in January. Thanks for your input. Love, T.
