Guest guest
Mark, Have you tried flexeril. It is an older version of a muscle relaxer and does not bother my stomach at all. My doctor had originally given it to me for the bad leg cramps I get and we discovered it really helps allot with the spasms in the stomach. My doctor looked it up and it is supposed to help relax the digestive system muscles. I now take it three times a day and it really makes a difference. I tried the Soma but it made me stupid! I think it was just too strong for me. I hope this helps. Simi Valley, CA

Guest guest
Hey Mark: Have you tried Robaxin? It is a muscle relaxer also. I also cannot take Flexeril. I took one pill one time and could not sleep for three days! No kidding. But I can take Robaxin. Don't know what the difference is. It might be worth a try. Guest guest
Yes, I have a herniated disc. It's not too bad though. It's at L5/S1, & an MRI shows it herniated about 8mm. I hurt it while working. The bed my patient was in wouldn't go higher, so when I was turning him, he resisted & the next thing I knew I couldn't stand up straight. It really only hurts if I stay in be too long. Getting up & moving around gives me relief. I wish I could say the same for the pancreas. Guest guest
Hi Mark, Sorry about your back. It's more then likely gonna just take time for the inflamation to go away. Ice would probably be the best home remedy. I have arthritis in my spine and take naproxin sodium (aleve) when my back starts to hurt. Have they been doing iontonphoresis at PT? When I had bursitis in my hip 2 iontophoresis treatments cured me after a month of agony. Thats all I've got, hope it feels better. Angel > I know this is off the subject. Guest guest
Mark, I do, but unfortunately, mine are in the lumbar region and most of it is muscular damage, not actual damage to the vertebrae, so I'm afraid I'm not much help for you. Most of the stuff they have me do is excercises for my lumbar region, which I can only do when I'm feeling well. Kimber -- Kimber Vallejo, CA hominid2@...
