Guest guest
I followed someone's advice and got some samples from my PCP for the pre-op and post-op meds. I also printed out the list of meds needed, including amounts/dosages etc. and took a copy to several different pharmacies in town. I asked them to write the prices for each med, and said I'd pick it up in a couple of days. They were all willing to do that. I found one that was the best price on all but one medication, and when I mentioned it to that pharmacist, she told me they will match the price on that last medication. I got all the pre-meds and the carafate (the prevacid was a sample which will last 2 weeks) before I left for Durham. I brought them in my carry-on so they wouldn't get sent somewhere else accidentally by the airline. I'll get the Actigal and more Prevacid in a week. I would suggest that you comparison shop if you can and get the meds ahead of time. Tricia in IL fivebugsonaleaf@... wrote: > > Dory, > I was a self pay patient. I had my surgery on Aug. 3.
