Guest guest
Careful with all those foods. There is no such thing as a " when " to introduce them, you have to go by whether your body can digest them yet. Slow and steady with the experimentation. WE all wanted suggestions on when to try the SCD allowed dry beans, nuts, seeds and dry fruits. We have been taking our time with the introduction of these foods. READY FOR SOMETHING NEW. Poor KiKi is back to intro. It is a good thing that food isn't a big issue with her...... yet. Can I have opinions please. Seeds after symptom free three months Guys, The reason I ask, is that we " jumped " according to Jody and ate many things to fast in the beginning...SOON AFTER DIARRHEA ENDED (one month out at the time). Pecan Bread says that these food are " later stages " ...I know that these stages are suggestion only, and not promoted by Elaine, yet we have found them helpful. According to BTVC, all but KIKI (now diarrhea back) is ready for all of these wonderful foods.....I will make a batch of beans and see...introduce things slowly...espec. for the little ones. Truly tired of the meat, vegie, fruit, yogurt scene....did good with intro of Cheese! yeah...would be nice to now at beans and such. We may be going TOOOO SLOWWWW, posted this question to get courage, more than anything else. Been a little brain washed by past diets we tried....still learning something new, even though been here for a while. Thanks Antoinette, and family SCD 2/06 (4 months) celiac/adhd, add, asd, and more
Guest guest
A little confused over your post, anyway, do you think Adam and Eve sat in the garden feeding each other lima bean pancakes and nut muffins? Meat, veggies fruit and yogurt are a basic diet for mankind, just a thought. Summer Bunce wrote: Summer said: Careful with all those foods. Guest guest
Antoinette, I'm sorry to say, but given how sick Kiki is and the fact that she is exclusively nursing now... I think you are stuck right where you are. If Kiki can tolerate your milk right now, then I wouldn't rock the boat. You might be bored, but she needs to get better. So, cook the same foods in a different way to prevent boredom, but don't add anything new to your own diet. As for the others in your family, try some properly soaked and cooked beans and see what happens. I wouldn't give Bubbles any seeds or dried fruits because I doubt she has enough teeth to chew them well.
