Guest guest
Hi all, I have been reading some posts about auto-immune pancreatitis. What exactly is this? I have had a high sed rate for about a year now, but my doctors say " not to worry about it. " I have pain everywhere in my body. I will address this with my doc next time I see him. I know it can be the " start " of lupus, I think?? Any info would be welcomed. Thoughts and prayers. T. (ohio)
Guest guest
, I am new to this diagnosis, but I will try to give you the info as I understand it. The bloodwork I had taken was not only the sed rate. I also had a blood test called anti-nuclear ab, which was more than double the normal levels, also there were more test, IGG subclasses, which were also very high. Do not think you have lupus from just a high sed rate. The high sed rate means you have inflammation in your body somewhere. This could be just because your pancreas may be inflamed. It was the combination of all of these test and other factors that lead to the diagnosis of lupus for me. It never hurts to talk with your doctor about anything that may concern you. I am so sorry it took me so long to send you a response for your question but since Tuesday I have been in allot of pain. I guess my body just can't handle being poked and prodded. Good luck on your next dr. apt. Simi Valley, CA what is auto-immune pancreatitis I have had a high sed rate for about a year now, but my doctors say " not to worry about it. " Thoughts and prayers.
