Guest guest
Heidi, The surgeon took out 3 tumours, 2 that showed up, and one that didn't show on the CT scan. That one was growing under my sternum, the only reason I found it was because it was starting to push at the skin like a cyst, and it caused my left breast to ache where the cleavage is. When he went in to take the 2cm lump out, he found it was a baseball size tumour growing toward my lungs..I wonder if it didn't show up on the scan because perhaps my sternum was in the way, or else it just wasn't there when I had the scan done..these tumours are very rare and strange, some can take years to grow, and stay steady, or years to grow then have a huge spurt of growth..like mine, and then the chest one that just popped up in a month. All of the other ones that were over my pancreas, liver and other organs..strangely enough just are not there anymore...if they were I would have only had approx 3 years to live. The surgeon thinks the other surgeon and GI (who both took a look inside me whilst cut open), and the pathologist mistook them for fatty tissue being pushed out from my constant pancreatitis attacks.. My husband, parents and family & friends believe God intervened with one of his miracles...either way, it is a blessing to me *s*
