Guest guest
Rhonda, That happens to me with just about every attack. I just take very short breaths, and not deep ones either, that hurts like a knife piercing through my abdomen. I actually breathe as if I'm in labour *L*..occasionally I can get a deep breath in. That has made me wonder if the short shallow breaths help for that. The first time I went to the ER, there were about 40 people waiting, and even though I was doubled over with pain, I was made to wait with them all in turn....when I told my mum that I couldn't breathe for the pain..she told the triage nurse, and I was in like Flynn *L*...I think they thought I was having a heart attack, which I told them I wasn't, but I just couldn't breathe the pain was so bad. Some hospitals ER rooms take one's blood pressure and temp as soon as I get there, and if my blood pressure is up very high(because of the pain) I am lucky enough to get straight through. Guest guest
that's when it happens, when it is REAL bad. I've noticed it before, but no one has ever said anything about it, so I wasn't sure. I do the same thing with the breathing (and my wonderful man is a big help, he's my " coach " ) lol. Luckily, here of late, when I go to the ER I usually get to at least go back to the room right away. Usually still takes the docs a while to get back to me, but at least I'm in a room and don't have everyone staring at me like I'm a lunatic. Guest guest
Tammy, I often feel the same pain. I find that I usually wake up with the sore muscles. I just figured that I am in some kind of pain while I am asleep and maybe tense a little bit without realizing it. Or if I had pain the day before, the same thing, we probably tense up our tummy muscles without realizing it. This is just my " theory " maybe someone has had a doctor tell them exactly what causes it. I hope you are doing well. Sending lots of happy thoughts your way Marisa~San Diego, CA
Guest guest
I sometimes experience sore abdominal muscles. It feels like I've done 100 situps. The soreness is all over my abdomen. Has anyone else ever experienced this? Tammy
