Congrats on getting approved, Laurie!! Sounds like your insurance is great,

too! I need to sign up with Aetna! ;o)

Hi Everyone

I called to check on my insurance today. I have an Aetna administered

plan through Honda. Honda is very good to its employees. After

reading this list for 3 months, I was ready for a fight. The

pre-cert

department has gone totally paperless - so my faxed letter and 16.00

packet were basically trashed. What they wanted was a 10 minute

phone

call from the dr. office, but I told them that would not happen

because his office was not dealing with insurance. He had given that

responsibility to us. They sighed and laughed and then they dealt

with me. One nurse took a little info from the first page of the dr.

letter and the next Rn took the weight, BMI and diet history and the

computer said - meets criteria - approved. IT wasn't even sent to

review panel or anything. I feel humbled and blessed and will

certainly keep all of you out there in the heat of the fight in my

thoughts and prayers. IT just should not be that hard!!

I will see many of you at clinic on the 19th. My husband and father

will be with me and my moj will take care of the baby at the hotel.

I

am interested in a Tuesday night dinner if others are.

Laurie
