The diet is outlined on page 69 of BTVC tenth edition and there are additional suggestions on the Pecanbread web site at: http://www.pecanbread.com/foodprep.html#intro Following this digestible diet for two or three days clears the decks for gradually introducing additional foods. Picky eaters often rebel and parents get upset thinking they are starving their children. Don't worry if your child won't eat everything that is suggested. People who don't realize the importance of the intro and skipped it often find, if they are not progressing well- that starting over with this simple menu then gets better results. Those few who have no intestinal problems like diarrhea can skip it if they insist. If an infraction is committed and the parent concerned, we usually advise them to go back briefly to that intro diet and it is often helpful. > > Carol F.
