No shipping charges in the USA for any order $25.00 & over.....yes, we ship

all over the world. -----then there are shipping charges. We find the least

expensive way, of course & who goes into each country.

By the way , if they have a friend or relative visiting, we will be happy to

ship to the family/friend, for them to take home to them.......That saves

them many costs as well.

Re: /Grandmom Bev/Lema oil.../questions for

when things...

Deb,

Most insurance companies don't cover vitamin supplements. Though,

years ago, my former insurance company agreed to cover the cost

of 's water soluable A and E vitamins after I appealed their

denial. Back then, these water soluble version (made by Aquasol)

were only available by prescription, so I had 's doctor write a

note pointing out two things: what these vitamins do and why water

soluble versions are necessary for people with CF. After that, the

company always paid.

Last fall, I recommended the Solgar magnesium to a 52-yr old woman in

Kentucky. She doesn't have CF but has severe osteopororis. After

she showed her pain management and orthopedic doctors the info I

sent, the pain doc wrote her a prescription for 600 mg. Solgar

magnesium glycinate. She submitted it to her insurance company so

all she pays is $1 per bottle (wish I had her ins.)

All companies are different and it never, ever hurts to appeal claims

so read your policy then send an appeal. Can't hurt, may help is my

motto! :)

Even if insurance doesn't pay for these things, as long as you get

your doctor to write a prescription, and keep a letter on file stating

why these supplements are medically necessary, you should be able to

include it when you itemize your medical deductions at tax time. But

check with your accountant.

The advantage of getting the Solgar magnesium from Bev's pharmacy is

that if you order other meds from them anyway, then there's no

shipping cost as long as your total order is over $45-50 (can't

remember the amount). HON charges minimum $5.50 shipping per order, I

think, and I don't think they ship internationally, but Bev's pharmacy

does.
