Guest guest
HI Kathleen: I just started on Metho 3 weeks ago. I have not had many problems except for some loose stools & a little queasiness & being tired on Tues, I take it on Mon. I am down to 30 mg of pred & it seems like my right ear is starting to flare. It is sore if I lay on it & it itches. I haven't stopped flaring since Nov. It's just been little things here & there but it's always something. I am seeing the rheumy next week. He also told me one of the side effects of Metho is diarrhea but that if it is bad you can take shots rather than pills & then the bowel won't be affected. Hope this helps a little. Guest guest
Susiecue, Thanks for the reply. I'm glad that the metho isn't making you too sick. I sure hope it doesn't bother me too much either. I am like you in that there always seems to be something acting up. Right now it's my throat and, as always, my nose. :-( Anyway, thanks for the support and may you have a pain-free and relaxing weekend!
