Guest guest
My 3 year old son has been strictly SCD for almost seven weeks. This week he seems as if his behavior took a nosedive: Aggression--tries to bite us when he is angry; bites on anything that is near him when angry (this is up from maybe 2 - 3 times a month) Tantrums over and over--at least five times or more a day (use to tantrum about 3 times a week) Expressive language dropped--have to prompt for even one word requests Seems excessively tired--clinging to blanket and going for a paci (totally new) almost 10 minutes out of every hour, trouble waking up/waking up more slowly Could this be dieoff? The only behavior that changed when we went SCD (after being GFCF for six months) was that his cravings for carbs dropped completely. This has been pretty unnerving to experience and I need some support to either " push through " or make a change. Thanks,
Guest guest
I am absolutely no expert, but I've read before of regressions at about the 2 or 3 month mark. Perhaps someone else here can shed some light, but I've heard of it. > > My 3 year old son has been strictly SCD for almost seven weeks. Guest guest
Something you might want to look at i as a book called the out of sync child. It talks about biting is something a kid does to try to say something he cant express. The book changed the way I looked at things and gave me ways to handle it. I just called my libray and they mailed it to me. , > > How is your son doing by now?
