Guest guest
Hi everybody, , I noticed you said that 's site is red. Have you ever tried eucalyptus oil???? I found the hint on a g-tube site when I was going crazy because of how s site looked. We couldnt do silver nitrate anymore because it just was so painful for him, and if the nurse told me one more time that it didnt really hurt him I was going to have to hurt her. I started using eucalyptus oil mixed with safflower oil that I found in Bath and Body works. I use about 5 drops in 10ml of warm water, I just wipe around his tube, it doesnt hurt and it took the reddness away and took care of the granulation tissue. It was great. Gotta run now, going to find the perfect birthday present for a 9 year old. Talk to you all later, , mommy of 4, almost 4 wCF
Guest guest
Hey , Thanks, I'll try it. Everyone says that it doesn't look " that bad " but I think it does. She has been known to get Yeast infections there, so we are always putting Nystatin on the site. She has also had a few other infections there but we were able to clear most with some bacitracin or neosporin. Right now it doesn't look infected but it is really red again.
