Guest guest
Ann, Boy, I'm seeing Red now..... UGGHHH these drs... I have had a flare without my ear flaring...have been flaring without my sed rate increased or my crp. He still wants pictures??? Yes.. RP can effect your inner ear... we have plenty in the group who have lost hearing....They think an antidepressant will help everything go away and calm us menopausal women down...(they do help. LOL ) I think you should give him a few sites to look at on the net.... If you want any, I'm sure we can give you a list. I am glad that he did up your pred. How much did he increase your metho? What were you on before? Know Im thinking of ya lots and hope you get this flare under control really fast.. sending lots of hugs

Guest guest
Ann, it is harder on our family then us sometimes. Rich and the girls were in denial long after I accepted it... I think they still are at times... I have a great support system at home...I cant do most of the things I use to do... I hate that I can't play with my grandchildren like I would like... But I am blessed by so much more. It will take time for your family to understand. If they ever have any questions, please tell them to ask us too. We use to have a support group for family and friends... The fatigue can be unbearable at times... I've learned to just go with it.. If my body is telling me I'm tired then i have to stop and go rest... Just listen to your body. The increase in metho will also make you more tired, or at least it did me... I sent you an invitation and MSN said you already had a passport...(don't ask me what that means)... I'm the computer dummy. If you find a post and sign up.. you may add my e mail addy to your list... If you don't find an invitation let me know, I will try to send it again. hugs Hang in there... It will get better... You are on the right track.
Guest guest
Thanks , I need all the help I can get. My daughter thinks I'm depressed because I'm tired and don't want to do the thinks we use to do. I try to tell her my legs just won't hold me up for any length of time. And I get tired easily. She thinks I went down hill to fast. If I'm not fighting one I'm fighting another. I just got my husband to understand. I printed off some of the posts and had him read them. Now he is more on my side. Took awhile. Think that is because I am on so much medication. Hope you feel better on the increase in med's. Guest guest
Hi Ann, This Rp doctors makes me so mad, do they ever really listen? What web sites did he give you to view? Maybe we should look them up also? Maybe we should load up your doctor with tons of info on RP, do you think it would help? lol NO! Hope your feeling better. Take care, Love Lu And I'm not really having a flare unless my ear is really red and swollen. Well I've had flares and my ear turns red but it doesn't necessarily swell. My chest cavity does. Gave me some web sites to check out. Is it true that RP doesn't affect the inner ear?
