Guest guest
Hi Everyone,, I just wanted to let all of you know that Frona and I crossed to the other side on Wednesday. The surgery was quite uneventful. Surgery was at 4:30 PM and we left the hospital the next morning at 10:30. Neither of us have had any pain except for some slight discomfort from the gas. I woke up Saturday morning with a little nausea, but after a couple of crackers it went away. We drove back to Hazard, Ky on Saturday morning - an eight hour drive. Of course, my husband did the driving. I have a little soreness, but not much. Did not need the pain medication or phenergan. We are strictly eating according to Dr. R's instructions. No cheating. Actually I'm afraid to cheat. I haven't weighed since we could not stay for clinic. Frona had a message from the insurance company when she got home and apparently she has been approved also. If anyone wants to use me for a contact, you can email me privately at deno33@.... I'll be gone until Friday night, but I will answer any questions that I can. I don't know how the others came out that day. We left so soon that we didn't get to talk to them. If anyone knows I would appreciate an update on them. Thanks for all the information and help you have given me. Kay in Ky one more thing!!! > Most of my questions now are all insurance related. It seems that is > an up and coming problem for all of us " newbies " and hopefuls. Guest guest
I am glad your surgery went well. I am trying to speed throught the process. I first found out 1 week ago. I have my packet almost ready to go, have seen my pcp, and Dr. R has written a letter to my insurance. I have to do it now while I have the nerve. My biggest fear is PAIN (Typical Man, Huh). I am petrified of it. Your post helped alleviate the fear, thanks, Bob RSteeleVa@...
