My son reacts to heat the same way. Since he doesn't seem to get

thirsty, it took us a while to recognize that fever,

lethargy, and generally not feeling well were signs of dehydration. Now

that we have him force fluids

(especially Gatorade) on hot days, he usually can avoid the fever and

sick feeling.

We get him some

The odd thing was that jeremiah was never sweaty and even tho he is three he

is good about sucking down the gatorade. He is usually good at maintaining

his own intake and has never balked at having to do so. And on top of that

we hadn't been outside all day. Last year and the years before we had always

been outside all the time and never had a problem like this happen.
