Guest guest
My son reacts to heat the same way. Since he doesn't seem to get thirsty, it took us a while to recognize that fever, lethargy, and generally not feeling well were signs of dehydration. Now that we have him force fluids (especially Gatorade) on hot days, he usually can avoid the fever and sick feeling. M Keslar wrote: >... >Yesterday it was rather warm here in Wyoming (94*), ... Guest guest
The odd thing was that jeremiah was never sweaty and even tho he is three he is good about sucking down the gatorade. He is usually good at maintaining his own intake and has never balked at having to do so. And on top of that we hadn't been outside all day. Last year and the years before we had always been outside all the time and never had a problem like this happen. shannon > >Reply-To: cfparents >To: cfparents >Subject: Re: just the beginning/ Heat & dehydration >Date: Wed, 02 Jul 2003 15:45:24 -0400 > >My son reacts to heat the same way.
