Guest guest
Dina has been in her starband since Nov 14 and has improved alot. My husband and I think her head is fine and don't feel the flat spot anymore when we wash her hair every night. We don't think her head needs to get more oval or round than it already is. Her scan from last month showed 8mm difference, but we've been told that it may never go down to 0 difference. At what point does the ortho or us decide on graduation. Dina will be 10 months this weekend and I really want her to be out of the helmet by her first birthday, especially since we are expecting our second daughter 2 weeks later. If anyone has any advice, or personal stories, please share. Thanks Nina
Guest guest
It is usually a joint decision. I was ready to graduate at 4 mo, but my doc and ortho encouraged me to go longer. By 5 mo sydney had gotten more correction and out grown her band so she greduatated, I was happy we waited. 6mm is considered mild, so I wouldn't even think of graduating till then if the band still fits. And if it still fits after that why not keep going ;-) You still have 2 mo until her birtday, and she may be ready by then. Congrats on baby # 2 - it sounds like you'll have your haids full. -christine sydney 3 mo starband grad > > Dina has been in her starband since Nov 14 and has improved alot.
