I know this is not address to me but I also have topical latex allergy and I

find that I can tolerate avocados fabulous and then terribly depending on

what other allergens are in the air. There are definitly some seasons that

I know avocados are off limits

Please be aware that every time you are exposed to a true allergen, it increases

your risk of anaphylaxis. Symptoms include rash, shortness of breath, feeling

of impending doom, weakness, axiety, rash, airway obstruction - due to swelling,

and even death. If you are allergic to anything in the latex class - bananas,

avacados, tropical fruits, kiwi, chestnuts, latex itself - please avoid any and

all items in this class! I would also advise wearing an allergy bracelet

(prudent with any allergy or severe medical condition) in case of emergency and

you were not able to speak for yourself. Most hospitals, doctors' offices,

ambulances, etc. have switched to non-latex alternatives. However some still

have gloves and other products in their supplies that contain latex. Please be

safe with this. It is not worth the risk for a tastey treat!

I have Latex Allergy as does about 8% of the general population. I

have only avoided about eight of the cross reactive foods and tolerate

the others I have been able to follow SCD well because of so few

exclusions.
