You left out me...Lu

Thanks for trying to harness this energy! I think this starts with an individual personal commitment. And the encouragement and accountability will be powerful if it's shared. Let's all give some thought to how this can best work and stick together on this for support. Carol G. has offered the expertise of her fitness certification and could be a great resource for stretching, warm-up and cool down "musts" so no one starts out by having sore muscles. Ahhhh, another weapon against this cRaP!

I will get the treadmill back out and try to begin

again even if it's just 2 minutes a day at the slowest

speed. I will need the encouragement of all and with

this great group, I know I'll get it.

YE HAW!

Joan, 2 minutes is better than 0 minutes. I'm excited that you're going to try

again. With the RP setbacks, there's going to be lots of " starting over " for

all of us. But it's the " keeping at it " that will help us help each other. Let

us know how those first 2 minutes went when you're done. I'll be thinking of

you.

Hi! I have been walking with a friend 3 times a week at the Y here in

Texas. So count me in as well. It'll help me stay on the wagon if I know

that I must " report " ! Great idea everyone!

I go to Physical therapy twice a week and work out for 1/2 hr. But on my off

days I exercise at home. I have to really push myself when I do it at home.

So this group thing is a good idea. Count me in.

Hi ,

You can add my name to the list. I am a walker also.

I walk between 3 and 5 times per week. Taking a baby

Rotweiller on those walks and training her adds an

entire new perspective to my walking. She definitely

puts some zing into my routine.

Love, Sharon
