Guest guest
Hi listmates Our DAN nutritionist has recommended a honey base to replace the 55% Corn solids in my 3y old ASD son's elemental formula (Neocate). He has major oxalate issues per the tests and major yeast issues (despite 2 courses of antifungals). Honey is a good choice for a simple carbohydrate and is LOD/SCD legal however I am scared about the impact on yeast. I am very eager to try this as Neocate is hurting my son and there does not appear to be any other options. Does anyone have any bad or good experience with large amounts of Honey in their/kids diets? Many thanks Santona
