Guest guest Posted March 12, 2002 Report Share Posted March 12, 2002 Thanks to all of you for sending birthday wishes. I had a great weekend-long birthday. Friday we went over to friends for snacks and wine, Saturday we went into New York City and saw Cabaret, had dinner at Rosie O'Grady's (excellent)and walked around the town a bit to show my friend Jane a little of the city life. Sunday we had friends and my father-in-law over for a BBQ dinner of ribs and chicken. So on my actual birthday I was pooped! Went home from work, heated up leftovers, opened a gorgeous pearl and gold bead necklace from my husband and an " I love my mom " coffee cup from my youngest son, and then headed downstairs to pay bills and reconcile my checkbook .... which I truly loathe, but one of us has to do it. All in all, had a great birthday. The two older boys forgot, but what else is new. Life is good! Thanks again everyone .... P.S. Don't forget to start working on those quilt blocks soon!
