Guest guest
, My son Colgan is also very pancreatic insufficient and has to take about 12 a day. 1 and 1/2 with each bottle per day. He is only 7 months old. I understand your concern about the enzymes. Ashauna mother of 2 Maxwel almost 5 still testing and Colgan 7 months wcf. Guest guest
I'm glad to know I am not the only one! Did Colgan get tested? If so, what were his numbers? They didn't really explain to me what it all meant, just that she needs enzymes. When she was born we started at 1/2 a capsule with each feeding...it seems like we've had to increase every time we go in. Is Colgan on Ultrase as well? Guest guest
, Yes Colgan is on Ultrase as well Plain Ultrase. He is still not totally under control after this last hospitalization so I am not sure how may but I kow he has jumped a huge amout in the last few weeks. I can not figure out what to give him. They did not test him because he was born with Meconium peritinitis and had to have a surgery at 2 days old and so they automatically put him on them. He started out at 1/2 as well. I hope that you and I and any other families out there dealing with this poop stuff can get it under control. It is sad to say but I worry about what his poop is going to be every time I change his diaper. Very stressful in addition to everything else about this disease. Lots of love to you all Ashauna mom to Max and Colgan wcf
