Hi Tammy,

I don't think I have had the chance to meet you yet. I have been on this

site for over 2 years now and lately have been extremely very busy with very

much family illness, besides my own CP, so I behind on my post. I most try

and read on what's happening to people and don't comment very much lately

due to family illness problems.

I just saw that your from Youngstown, OH. I think you'll probably the

closes one to me on the board. I was wondering if you use your local

doctors in Youngstown or do you go to doctor in other places, such as

Cleveland Clinic. I have been there 3 times for my pancreatitis and even

had surgery once there. The last time I was there a year and a half ago , I

saw the doctor that was head of the Pancreatitis Center, and didn't get any

results. I did have a Whipple done at Ohio State Medical Center, in

Columbus, OH. in 94 and it did help for 2 years then I ended up with CP. I

have been battling pancreatitis for 14 years now. I have also been to

Allegheny General, in Pittsburgh, Pa, without very much success. I finally

had to give up my job in 98 due to the Pancreatitis and a few other problems

and had to go on disability. I really hated to give up my job, but it has

turned out to be the best thing for my, as there is some days when I can't

even get out of bed due to the serve pain. How long have you had

pancreatitis? and once again Welcome. By the way I'm 54 years old.
