Hi , hope you made it home safe and sound and

got all good reports yesterday.

Any news on Diane or ? Please let us know.

Hi Squeek, thanks for all the leads on the books. I went to the used book

store and came home with too many. LOL

I'm so mad. They were suppose to have s lab reports in by Thurs. at

the latest and they still weren't there by today. UGGHH ( of course you

have to remember it took them 5 months to notify her of a bad pap.

I will be heading to my sisters next week, maybe Monday and taking her for

her biopsy. From what I hear the one she is having done takes hours and is

painful. She doesn't want me to come, but I just have to be there for her.

I got home late tonight from Stanford. It was a tiring trip. I am scheduled

for an angiogram on the 30th. They are going to go in on both the left and

right sides. They are going to check for blockages, the pressure in my

heart, the aorta for aneurysms and my valves to see if they need replacing.

They feel that the aortic valve will. We discussed all the different types

of valves ( kind of like car shopping) LOL I reassured the dr that I was

going to be fine and that everything would come our normal. He said that was

great for me, but what was he going to do with me then. LOL He still had to

fix my symptoms. I told him that was his problem, that is why I pay him. LOL

We both laughed a lot. I feel I am in the best possible hands. He is a

wonderful dr and a great human being. I guess if we all keep looking hard

enough, we somehow find the DR. Right. LOL

We have to change insurance companies in Nov, so I hope to get everything

done that needs to be.

Our town is having a street fair tomorrow and I plan on going if it isn't

raining. They are always so much fun.. Hey, maybe I will find a booth that

sells quilt squares. LOL

I hope you have a great weekend.

hugs

Sandy, I don't think that the surgeon plans on removing anything. My sister

opted not to do that at the same time. She will get her results about 5 days

after the biopsy. Boy all we seem to do is hurry up and wait. LOL

I'm so glad that everything was fine for you. She is very optimistic and I

hope her results are the same as yours.

hugs

,

I had the xrays and needle biopsy but I did not have the metal Markers.

My surgeon went ahead and did a surgical biopsy at which time he removed both tumors. They were both benign. It was really scarry for me because my Mother had died the previous year from breast cancer. My younger sister just had a mastectomy in December for breast cancer.

My eyes are still the same. I go to the Cleveland Clinic first thing Monday morning. I'll let you know what happens.

I saw the picture at the egroup site. My email addy has changed. It is the addy I gave you for your sister.

Love Ya,

SandySandy you are such a sweetheart!!! With all of your problems, you are willing to help all of us. Oh Gosh I just love you to pieces. She is having a biopsy where she lays on her stomach with her breast through a hole in the table. The rad. tech does exrays, ultrasounds etc and then does needle biopsies. They are going to insert metal markers. The will have to pressure wrap her when they are done and told her to expect to be there from 2-6 hours. Does any of that sound familiar??? I will send your post along to her. She is very positive and her spirits are great. Breast cancer runs high in my family so of course I worry about her more than she worries about herself. LOL But then, she worries about me, so I guess we are even. We give each other ulcers. LOL Thanks again Sandy. I hope you are doing better. Is your eyesight any better at all? Please let me know. Know that you are always in my prayers. Did you receive the picture I sent to you of your whole family? I think it came back, I will tr to email it again. It was a wonderful picture of Lou, you , and . (well not quite your whole family huh? ) Take care my friend.I attached it here, let me know if you can open it.
