Guest guest
Lora, Check www.pecanbread.com under recipes. There is also a recipe for souffle bread that contains no nuts. I believe it is posted at www.scdrecipe.com Charlene Hi all, I'm looking for scd recipes for things like pancakes, cookies, muffins, or breads that don't use nut flour (or bananas) if there are any. I am dangerously allergic to both, so that cuts out a lot in the categories I mentioned. I do see the recipe for bean pancakes in BTVC, and I have seen the recipe for chicken pancakes, and for macaroons without nut flour. Are there any others? I'm not ready to introduce these things yet but I'd like to be ready with recipes. Thanks! Lora

Guest guest
Lora, If you find recipes without nuts, but they have bananas... You can cook any other fruit, puree it and then " drip " it the way we drip the SCD yogurt and you'll get a thickened fruit puree that you can use in place of the bananas. You'll need about 1/2 cup of the thickened puree to replace a banana. Jody mom to -7 and -9 SCD 1/
