I'd like to hear more of your story. > Tammy Tammy, I tried to post once before and it didn't quite work so if this comes across twice, it is my fault. I had my first attack of acute pancreatitis at about age ten. Between ten and twenty, I had an attack about once or twice a year. Had lots of tests without any good answers. At age twenty, I became significantly worse. I had two pregnancies that were at a minimum tortuous because of the CP. I am now twenty six, and last year I was in the hospital almost 90 days, 80 the year before, and 70 the year before that. I went through every test, without any answers. I had every proceedure short of open surgery that offered any hope of relief, without any improvement. I became severely depressed, to the point of considering suicide. Then I found the PAI, and with it understanding and real hope. I was made aware of the TP-ICT surgery being done in Minneapolis and Cincinatti. I had a consult in Sept of last year, and I had my life giving surgery Nov 17th. I came home Dec 3rd. and by New Years I was already feeling better than I had in a long time. Yesterday was four months since my surgery, and I can honestly say that I have felt better the last month than I have in ten years!! That is the abbreviated version so if I forgot anything just let me know. Sincerely, Keri Beck
