Off to Durham!!!

Val and her husband, Carl, and Dave and me (Ruth) are headed for

Durham tomorrow. Val and I both work at the Courthouse so we will go

in for part of the day, till 3:00, then leave to head for the

airport. That's dedication for you!. We leave Providence, RI at

7:00, fly to Washington, DC and then on to Durham, arriving somewhere

around 10:30 (hopefully). Dave is not at all nervous, he went out

to celebrate tonight at an all you can eat restaurant. It was $45.00

for all the lobster, prime rib, clams, seafood, and tons of dessert.

He had a ball, now he's full and sleeping. I told him to enjoy, he's

almost done with that. I stayed home to get things ready to go

tomorrow, since I have to work all day. We will drag Val onto the

plane and arrive for Dave and Val's surgery on Wednesday. I think we

will go out Monday night and try to find Dr. R's office since we have

to check in there first before clinic. Well, hope to meet everyone

in Durham. Let you know how it goes for Val and Dave. Ruth in CT

Ruth, I hope Dave and Val's surgery is uneventful and their recovery

speedy! I was born in Manchester Ct and most of my family is still

there except for my mom and brothers, they live in Cranston RI Just

wanted to wish you all the best.
