I would call my dr and ask just to make sure...I don't know how long the incubation is, but I'd check....better safe than sorry... gosh, I'm so sorry to hear that... Hopefully everything will be okay... Has Jordon had Chicken pox??/ I sure hope so... Know you are in my prayers lady..... I worry about you. hugs
Guest guest
Sharon, Remicade puts you at a high risk for infection. Please let your doctor know you have been exposed. Better to be safe. Sandy To the panel of experts: My grandson's best friendlives next door and he comes over here to play almostevery day. Yesterday, Jordan had him over for about 6hours. They play mainly in Jordan's room, but I am inand out, checking on them, etc. Just got a call fromthe boy's mom to tell me that he broke out withchicken pox last night--after being here all evening. I have already had shingles once, I'm due to start myRemicade tomorrow, help! Should I be concerned? Doesanyone know how at risk I am? Appreciate yourinsights! So far, so good and it will be a week tomorrow since exposure. I can't remember what the incubation period is, so will have to check my Merk Manual. I talked to the boy's mom last night just to let her know that I am immune-suppressed. She told me that he actually had three pox when he came home from our house last Wed. That made me really happy! NOT! How are you doing, Lu? Hope all is well. Love, Sharon ===== __________________________________________________
