I thank God for SCD and all the SCD resources... But at the moment I'm only 'in love' with the Holy Trinity. I asked for your take on the GAPS/SCD book because I respect your dedication to SCD. I hope you'll read all the coming SCD recovery books. However, I also understand and admire the need to take care of yourself with some cultural entertainment, we all need that. I'm curently reading 'Umbilical Stem Cell Therapy' by Drs. Steenblock and Payne (about recovering typical brain functioning in neurological conditions) and 'Young Wives' by Goldsmith (about restoration, healing, unity and the big picture). You might enjoy, but from what I've seen you post, I still think you'd find the GAPS/SCD book satisfying :-). Agape, carolfrilegh wrote: > > Hey Carol, > I think you'd like Dr. NC's book ... I'll bet there'll be future SCD books/authors coming from this list as recovery takes place. > Agape, When these people devote a half century of their lives to the research of SCD as Elaine did I'll read their findings. Meanwhile I continue to reread BTVC quite often. Lots of other scientists praise Elaine's book and her diet. That doesn't mean they advocate it. I've been here a long time and weathered firestorms with SCD under attack or attempted " adoptions " of it by various big wigs in the autism community and we haven't caved yet. I have been welcomed on the list in the mission statement on the home page as an adult who does SCD and so i remain. Elaine invited me here to help with SCD not with autism and I never claim that as my area of expertise. now I am reading " The Plot Against America " by Roth and some short stories, " Runaway " by Alice Munro. " The Plot " is a perfect example of how subtle proaganda can distort and displace. You may enjoy them :-) Carol F.
