Just what is red-eye gravy? >> You fry country ham on a low heat. Remove from pan and add coffee, preferably brewed coffee not instant ( about a cup to a cup and a half) It sounds bad, but is delicious over grits or biscuits along with the ham. Guest guest
I haven't posted in a while since I had to wait on my blood sugar to stabilize. but this deep south stuff about red eye gravy, (Yum), coke w/peanuts in a glass bottle, Goody headache powders........You Yankees and mid-westerners just don;t know good stuff when you hear about it. all these things are a way of life that I couldn't imagine without. I have an appointment for my " pre-op " physical on the 24th. I am so nervous I can hardly do my everyday stuff. all I have been doing is reading these posts. You guys are wonderful. Guest guest
Hi Marg, I am in Forest City in Rutherford County. (Actually in Ellenboro, like where is that?) so glad to hear from someone close by. I can't get a mammogram until 9/11. that really shoots my plans for an earlier time. See ya. betty in western NC Re: Red Eye Gravy >Hi Betty where are u in western nc i am in hendersonville. Guest guest
Gee Marg. I was over on Dixie Trail Saturday nite looking for a friend, (who was not home). Yea, maybe we could. I am loving this list. I have NO friends who would understand any of the posts like the Size 20 shorts. But buddy, I sure did. I can't wait to trade in my 24's for even 22's, much less 24's. Everyone I know here is actually skinny. See ya, Betty Re: Red Eye Gravy >Hi Betty, >My son lives in forest city off of 221A on dixie trail he has just moved >there. I was down there Saturday nite.
